Augie can now automatically categorize emails in your inbox. This helps teams organize work by topic and owner more quickly, making inboxes clearer and easier to manage.
Why It Matters
Email is still where critical work happens — customer escalations, handoffs, and deal coordination all flow through the inbox. But manually keeping that inbox organized takes time and discipline teams rarely have.
Augie does the heavy lifting for you. By automatically labeling or filing messages based on your workflows, Augie keeps inboxes structured without extra effort. Teams don’t have to remember rules, create filters, or keep labels updated — it just happens. This keeps email from becoming a bottleneck, so teams can focus on the work, not the inbox.
How It Works
Uses your email provider’s system:
Gmail → adds labels
Outlook → moves messages to folders
If a label or folder doesn’t exist, Augie creates it automatically.
Real-world example:
When Walmart tender emails arrive in your shared inbox, Augie automatically detects and categorizes them into a folder or label like “Tenders – Walmart.”
This helps your team quickly identify new tenders, review details like origin and destination, and start building loads immediately — without digging through mixed inbox threads.
Augie can also mark emails they’re actively working on, making handoffs clearer and preventing duplicate effort.
To enable email categorization, add a step in your SOP.
For example: label emails as POD-[customer name].
If there’s no customer name, use POD-unknown.
Once set up, Augie automatically sorts incoming emails — like tenders, PODs, or invoices — into the right place for faster, cleaner workflows.
