WHAT CHANGES WITH AUGIE
Stop chasing appointments.
Start confirming them.
Traditional
Without Augie
Manual scheduling chaos
Scheduling initiation
Coordinator manually checks email, portals, and TMS for each load to start scheduling.
Portal booking
Copy-paste between portals and TMS. Every field entered by hand.
Follow-ups
Repeated emails and calls to confirm availability. Threads get dropped.
Reschedules
Handled ad hoc. Details get missed, with no audit trail.
TMS accuracy
Updated late or incorrectly. Manual re-entry introduces errors.
Visibility
One missed detail cascades into detention, service failures, and escalations.

CAPABILITIES
Purpose-built for the complexity of freight scheduling.
Augie monitors your TMS and starts scheduling the moment a load is ready — no manual trigger, no copy-paste. Load data flows directly into the scheduling workflow.

Multi-portal automation
Augie books directly in scheduling portals, with support for 150+ scheduling portals on the roadmap.

Email-based scheduling
For facilities that schedule via email, Augie sends requests, handles responses, and manages the entire conversation through booking.

Intelligent slot selection
Evaluates scheduling preferences, facility hours, FCFS vs. appointment rules, and computed travel time to recommend the optimal pickup and delivery windows.

TMS writeback
Confirmed dates, times, and appointment reference numbers are written directly back into your TMS — eliminating manual data entry and reducing errors.

Smart escalations
When Augie can't schedule, it escalates to your team with the reason code, available slots, and recommended next step so handoffs are seamless, not stressful.

Facility rules engine
Manage facility metadata like operating hours, addresses, preferred scheduling method, and instructions directly in the Augment portal.
TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATION
Your team stays informed without lifting a finger.
Every scheduled appointment generates a detailed confirmation showing pickup and delivery details, available slots grid, booked times, and Augie’s decision logic.
And when Augie can't complete a booking, your reps get a clear escalation email with suggested next steps.

Frequently asked questions
Which scheduling portals does Augie support?

Augie is integrated with major portals including E2Open, Manhattan, Retail Link, and Blue Yonder, and we're continuously adding several more every week based on customer demand. We also support email-based scheduling for facilities that don't use portals.
What TMS systems does Augie integrate with?

Scheduling integrates with any TMS that supports API-based load ingestion and update endpoints. Augie reads load details from your TMS and writes confirmed appointment times and confirmation numbers back. We work with your team during onboarding to configure the integration.
How does Augie determine the best appointment time?

Augie evaluates available slots against multiple constraints: your scheduling preferences (e.g., afternoon pickup, morning delivery), facility operating hours, FCFS vs. appointment rules, computed travel time between facilities, and scheduling buffers. It selects the optimal combination and provides reasoning for its decision in the confirmation email.
What happens when Augie can't schedule an appointment?

Augie sends an "Action Needed" email to your team with the specific reason it couldn't schedule — no available slots, scheduling provider not configured, facility exception, or other issues. The email includes the available slots grid and a recommended date/time so your coordinator can resolve it quickly.
Can Augie handle reschedules?

Reschedule handling is on our roadmap for 2026. This includes processing reschedule requests via email and portal, modifying existing appointments based on facility details, and sending updated confirmations. We're also building proactive rescheduling — where our Track & Trace agent detects a driver will miss their appointment and automatically reschedules.
What do we need to get started?

Four things: (1) TMS API access to push load details and receive appointment updates, (2) credentials for your top scheduling portals, (3) facility data including names, codes, addresses, scheduling method, and operating hours, and (4) a shared email inbox for Augie to send confirmations. Our team provides templates and guides you through the testing phase.
How is Augie priced?

Scheduling is priced on a per-shipment usage basis — you only pay when you get value. This can be added alongside other Augment workflows like Track & Trace, Document Management, and Carrier Selection. Contact your Augment rep for volume-specific pricing.
How does Augie compare to Qued or Hubflow?

The key differentiators are closed-loop execution and the decision layer. Where portal-click automation tools stop at booking, Augie handles the full lifecycle: intelligent slot selection, TMS writeback, exception handling, and team communication. We encourage you to evaluate integration depth, auditability, exception handling, and what happens when the portal flow breaks.
