Augie for Zoom Team Chat —
Setup & Usage Guide
Augie is Augment's AI assistant for freight and logistics teams. In Zoom Team Chat, Augie answers questions, handles requests, and sends proactive updates — in direct messages, group chats, and channels.
This app is distributed as an Unlisted Marketplace app and is admin-managed: a Zoom account administrator installs it once for the whole account. Individual users do not install it themselves.
Adding the app
Installation is performed once by a Zoom account administrator.
Open the private installation link provided by your Augment representative
Review the requested permissions and click Allow to authorize the app for your account.
You'll be redirected to a confirmation page once the install completes.

After install, Augie is available account-wide. Your Augment representative will confirm your account is connected to your Augment workspace.

Using the app
Direct message Augie
Search for Augie in Zoom Team Chat and send a direct message. Augie replies in the same conversation. Continue naturally — Augie keeps context within a thread.

Mention Augie in a channel or group chat
Once Augie has been added to a channel or group chat (see below), mention @Augie in a message and Augie will reply in that thread.

Add Augie to a channel or group chat
Augie can post to a channel or group chat, but to reply to messages there it must be added as a member:
Click the Members icon at the top right of the chat.
Select the Integrations tab.
Click Add Apps and choose Augie.

Proactive messages
Augie may message you or a group on its own — for example, load updates or action items generated by your Augment workflows. Reply to these messages directly to continue the conversation.

Removing the app
Remove Augie from a single channel or group chat
Click the Members icon at the top right of the chat.
Open the Integrations tab. Augie for Zoom Team Chat — Setup & Usage Guide5
Remove Augie from the list.
Augie will no longer receive or reply to messages in that conversation.

Uninstall the app for the entire account
A Zoom account administrator can remove Augie completely:
Go to the Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps (or Installed Apps).
Find Augie and click Remove.
On removal, Augment is notified automatically and deletes the account's stored authorization tokens. See Data & privacy below.
Data & privacy
Augie stores the account's authorization tokens (encrypted at rest) and basic identifiers needed to route messages. Message content is processed to deliver responses and is not retained by the Zoom integration beyond what's needed to operate.
When the app is uninstalled, stored authorization tokens for that account are removed automatically.
