Partnership gives Augment's AI platform faster and more seamless connectivity to leading TMS and ERP providers with minimal engineering lift
We’re thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with Redwood Logistics (Redwood), allowing customers to instantly integrate Augment’s AI teammate, Augie, with a wide array of transportation management systems (TMS) or enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) via RedwoodConnect. As a result, our customers can deploy Augie to handle manual work faster than ever before. Operators gain that time back to focus on the exception management and judgement calls that drive business growth.
Through the partnership, Augment's customers can rapidly integrate to Redwood's robust library of pre-built connectors. The library includes Infios TM (formerly known as MercuryGate), Oracle Transportation Management, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Mastery, and other common broker platforms such as Turvo, Tai, and Aljex. Redwood also maintains connectors into ERP and warehouse management (WMS) systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Infor, which extends the same integration path beyond freight to shippers and distributors. Redwood provides pre-built connectors, so integrations deploy at speed and require minimal engineering lift from Augment's customers. Once integrated, Augie can access real-time load, carrier, and shipment data and write updates back to customers’ TMS or ERP automatically.
"Every AI platform entering our industry eventually runs into the same wall: connectivity," said John Rattay, CRO, Redwood. "The promise breaks down fast when you can't move clean data in and clean instructions out across the mix of TMS environments a shipper or 3PL is actually running. RedwoodConnect exists to remove that wall. Augment gets instant reach into the systems their customers already operate, and the logistics ecosystem gets AI that can actually close the loop on execution."
RedwoodConnect is the only integration platform as a service (iPaaS) purpose-built for transportation. Its marketplace of connectors enables 360-degree connectivity across TMS, WMS, visibility, and brokerage systems. The platform combines a no-code architecture with Redwood's team of logistics experts operating across flexible resourcing and support models, giving technology partners a scalable path to enterprise-grade integration without the overhead of building and maintaining those connections in-house.
“"Anyone can demo AI for supply chain. Getting things to work in production at scale is a different sport,” said Harish Abbott, CEO at Augment. “In production Augie needs to remain in sync with the systems of record; TMS, WMS and ERPs. Our partnership with Redwood enables our customers to shorten time to value by delivering real-time, high quality integrations within supply chain core systems of record.”
RedwoodConnect is designed with privacy and security controls that isolate each customer’s data throughout the integration process. Every customer tenant is independently firewalled from other customer tenants and from Redwood’s internal environment, helping prevent unauthorized cross-tenant or internal access. RedwoodConnect is SOC 2 compliant, and customers retain full rights to their data, with all data transfers governed by rigorous security protocols. This gives Augment’s customers a secure and scalable foundation for connecting AI to the systems that run their businesses; and putting that technology to work faster.
