Two new capabilities help Augie handle the messy reality of logistics documents. The Trainer Tool lets customers teach Augie to extract data from new documents, particularly load tenders. Clarifying Questions for Load Building give Augie the ability to ask for help when a load tender is missing critical information, instead of dropping the task or failing silently.
Why It Matters
Every customer, shipper, and carrier has different document formats, labels, and conventions. The Trainer Tool collapses the time it takes to bring a new format online from engineering weeks to operator minutes.
Load building failures are most often caused by incomplete or ambiguous information. Clarifying Questions bring human-operator behavior — pattern recognition, asking for context, recovering missing details — into Augie's workflow.
Together, these move Augie meaningfully closer to a teammate that can understand documents, structure the right data, ask for help when needed, and complete workflows with less manual effort.
How It Works
Trainer Tool — Train Augie on identifying the customer from a document, which workflow(s) should be used, what data should be extracted, and what data needs to be implied to create a structured load in the customer's TMS.
Clarifying Questions — Augie can now ask for help when a load tender contains an unknown customer or shipper, an ambiguous customer name (e.g., "Deliverr Food" vs. "Deliver Co."), unknown facility stops, missing TMS-required fields, or potential duplicate loads.
Instead of dropping the task when something is missing or unclear, Augie asks for help, recovers the missing information, and continues the workflow.
