Set every appointment without the busywork
Augie is the AI teammate that clears every pickup and delivery appointment across portals and email from one workflow.
Clear the appointment board before morning dispatch
Cover every appointment window without touching a portal
Every shipment that needs an appointment gets identified, booked, and confirmed, with pickup and delivery windows written straight to your TMS.
PORTALS
Book straight into their portal
Books inside your existing portals
Augie identifies which portal each facility uses and authenticates automatically, so shipments route to the right queue every time.
Checks availability as it changes
Augie reads live slot data across major carrier and facility portals, catching openings the moment they appear.
Confirms without watching a screen
Augie submits, tracks, and locks in bookings asynchronously, so appointments confirm without a coordinator refreshing the portal.
Eliminate back and forth email chaos
Sends the first message
Augie drafts and sends the appointment request with the shipment details and constraints the facility needs to answer.
Reads replies like a rep would
Augie interprets confirmations, counteroffers, and clarifying questions, then keeps the thread moving without a coordinator.
Follows up until it's booked
Augie tracks open requests and re-sends on a cadence, so no appointment sits unconfirmed because a facility never replied.
FACILITIES & CUSTOMERS
Start from a mapped facility network
Maintains an updated facilities database
Augie maintains a facility data store covering thousands of locations, so brokers aren't building a database before they can book.
Applies each facility's real policy
Augie applies each facility's actual booking method — appointment or first-come-first-served — along with its specific requirements and hour windows.
Checks transit against dock hours
Augie weighs transit time against facility hours before booking, so appointments never conflict with a shipment's feasibility.
CONFIRMATIONS & ESCALATIONS
Escalate the calls that matter
Treats silence as a signal
Augie treats a submitted request as open until confirmed — a booking that never returns triggers an escalation, not a success.
Escalates with full context
Augie pulls pickup, delivery, weight, and freight class from the message and prices the lane in seconds.
Keeps the TMS up to date
Augie logs the confirmed appointment, or the reason it's still pending, directly to the TMS so the record stays current.
The clear choice to automate scheduling
Compare Appointment Scheduling against how your dispatch team books today — manual calls, TMS scheduling, and point tools included.
Books in portals and over email in one workflow
Waits for a real confirmation before scheduling
Writes confirmation numbers back to the TMS automatically
Checks transit feasibility before booking both ends
Applies each shipper's rules without a rep remembering
Cost of scheduling stays flat as volume increases

Which systems does Augie write the appointment back to?

Your TMS — the confirmed window in the facility's local time, plus the confirmation number, written automatically so nobody re-keys it. Augie reads the loads needing appointments from the same system, which is what lets it start without a manual trigger. TMS API access for both the read and the write is the one hard prerequisite, so we confirm it during scoping.
What does Augie need to know about our facilities before this works?

Less than you'd expect. Augment already maintains records for thousands of facilities, including which scheduling method each one uses, and your TMS facility codes resolve against them. Where a record is missing or incomplete, your team can create and edit it in the Augment portal, and facilities missing required detail get flagged rather than failing silently. During implementation we record your current scheduling process so your customers' preferences come with you.
Do facilities know they're emailing a bot?

Email sends from your own scheduling inbox in your approved voice, with the load details a facility needs to answer. You review real exchanges during validation before anything sends automatically. If a reply is unclear or asks for something Augie doesn't have, it hands the thread to a rep instead of improvising.
What happens when there's no slot that works?

Augie re-plans against your constraints first — if the window it wanted was taken, it looks for another one your rules allow. If nothing valid exists, it escalates with a structured reason, the windows it saw, and what it tried. It won't book a slot the carrier can't physically make, and if only one leg of the load books, your rep is told which one is still open.
How do we know an appointment is really confirmed?

Augie treats a submitted request and a confirmed appointment as two different things. On portals that confirm later, it submits, polls for the facility's confirmation, and only marks the load confirmed once that comes back. If the confirmation never arrives, theescalates to a rep rather than sitting in your TMS looking booked. You find out at your desk, not at the dock.
Which channels can Augie book appointments through?

Augie books through both email and portals in one workflow. Augie books in the major scheduling portals, including Opendock, Retail Link, C3, UNFI, and more, and runs the full email exchange for facilities that schedule that way. We scope your facility list and portal mix before implementation and tell you what's covered and what isn't. Facilities that book by phone get flagged during scoping and stay with your reps rather than being quietly assumed in.
What is AI appointment scheduling?

Appointment scheduling is booking a delivery or pickup window with the facility receiving the freight. The AI version takes the coordinator out of the middle: Augie reads which loads need appointments from your TMS, books in whatever channel each facility uses, applies your scheduling rules to pick the window, and writes the confirmation back — including the facility's local time and confirmation number.
Definitional entries work best at the top of the block.
Which scheduling portals does Augie support?

Augie is integrated with major portals including E2Open, Manhattan, Retail Link, and Blue Yonder, and we're continuously adding several more every week based on customer demand. We also support email-based scheduling for facilities that don't use portals.
What TMS systems does Augie integrate with?

Scheduling integrates with any TMS that supports API-based load ingestion and update endpoints. Augie reads load details from your TMS and writes confirmed appointment times and confirmation numbers back. We work with your team during onboarding to configure the integration.
How does Augie determine the best appointment time?

Augie evaluates available slots against multiple constraints: your scheduling preferences (e.g., afternoon pickup, morning delivery), facility operating hours, FCFS vs. appointment rules, computed travel time between facilities, and scheduling buffers. It selects the optimal combination and provides reasoning for its decision in the confirmation email.
What happens when Augie can't schedule an appointment?

Augie sends an "Action Needed" email to your team with the specific reason it couldn't schedule — no available slots, scheduling provider not configured, facility exception, or other issues. The email includes the available slots grid and a recommended date/time so your coordinator can resolve it quickly.
Can Augie handle reschedules?

Reschedule handling is on our roadmap for 2026. This includes processing reschedule requests via email and portal, modifying existing appointments based on facility details, and sending updated confirmations. We're also building proactive rescheduling — where our Track & Trace agent detects a driver will miss their appointment and automatically reschedules.
What do we need to get started?

Four things: (1) TMS API access to push load details and receive appointment updates, (2) credentials for your top scheduling portals, (3) facility data including names, codes, addresses, scheduling method, and operating hours, and (4) a shared email inbox for Augie to send confirmations. Our team provides templates and guides you through the testing phase.
How is Augie priced?

Scheduling is priced on a per-shipment usage basis — you only pay when you get value. This can be added alongside other Augment workflows like Track & Trace, Document Management, and Carrier Selection. Contact your Augment rep for volume-specific pricing.
How does Augie compare to Qued or Hubflow?

The key differentiators are closed-loop execution and the decision layer. Where portal-click automation tools stop at booking, Augie handles the full lifecycle: intelligent slot selection, TMS writeback, exception handling, and team communication. We encourage you to evaluate integration depth, auditability, exception handling, and what happens when the portal flow breaks.
