We’ve just launched a powerful new capability: Augie can now execute browser tasks—automating web-based actions like navigating, extracting data, or submitting forms—directly within SOPs.
What’s a Browser Task?
Browser tasks let Augie interact with websites like a human would—no API required. They allow you to define step-by-step instructions (click here, enter this, extract that) for any web page, and then call that task as a tool inside Augie’s workflow.
First Use Case: LTL Webscraper
Our first live browser task is built for LTL Track & Trace. Given a PRO Number, Augie can now:
Visit the LTL carrier’s website (e.g., Estes Express)
Pull the most recent tracking data (location, status, delivery notes)
Mark the workflow complete per SOP requirements
No integration needed. No engineering required.
Why This Matters
Scalability: You no longer need to build one-off scrapers or custom integrations for every carrier or portal.
Efficiency: Reduce manual calls and emails by letting Augie fetch tracking updates automatically.
Flexibility: Browser tasks are configurable and can be reused across customers and carriers.
This is just the beginning. Augie can now work where APIs can’t.
