Augie now tracks drivers with a single tap

Getting precise driver locations has always meant chasing down check calls, firing off texts, or standing up separate tracking services. Augie already handles the back-and-forth on check calls and carrier messaging, and now it can pull accurate GPS coordinates from the driver's phone with a single tap.

Why It Matters

  • Get precise, real-time location without spending rep time on check calls or text chasing.

  • Replace or supplement paid third-party tracking services with a built-in alternative.

  • Give drivers the easiest possible experience: tap a link, allow location, done.

How It Works

  • When a load goes “In Transit,” Augie automatically texts the driver a unique tokenized link.

  • The driver taps the link, allows location access in their browser, and GPS coordinates are captured instantly.

  • Augie converts the coordinates into a transit update with city, state, and country, and writes it straight into your TMS.

  • Links are single-use and expire after 12 hours, with one active link per load at a time.

Availability

  • In early rollout. Contact your Augment rep to get your brokerage enabled.
