Track and trace just got more accurate. We've upgraded how Augie interprets driver-reported locations during check-in calls—especially when names are mispronounced, mistranscribed, or slightly off.
With our new "fuzzy search along route" logic, Augie uses route context and the Google Places API to identify the most likely location—even if a city name is imprecise or missing a state. This means fewer missed updates and better visibility for your ops team.
Examples:
If a driver headed to Oklahoma says they're "in Springfield," Augie now knows they likely mean Springfield, MO on I-44.
If someone mentions “Pine Bluff, Nebraska” while heading west on I-80, Augie infers they mean Pine Bluffs, WY—just over the border.
This enhancement ensures more accurate transit updates in your TMS—and it's just the beginning. We’re bringing the same smarts to track and trace emails next.
